Photography & Video Policy

Guests are welcome to take photos at Fort Concho. Outside photography activity should not harm the buildings and grounds nor inconvenience guest access, programs, and services. Interior photography of exhibit buildings is limited to non-flash. Any setup of equipment, access to non-public areas, and commercial projects inside the buildings must be referred to the fort staff at (325) 481-2646 or director@fortconcho.com. You are welcome to share images by using #fortconcho or tag us at @fortconchonationalhistoriclandmark.

Pet Policy

All pets or companion animals are welcome on our site, but must comply with the city’s leash laws and should remain outside tour buildings.

Services animals are welcomed in all fort tour buildings including the Visitor Center and gallery space in Barracks 1.

The Americans with Disabilities Act defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal trained to assist an individual with a disability.

Accessibility

Although some parts of Fort Concho can be navigated by wheelchairs, the site is not wheelchair accessible. The fort grounds are gravel and not ADA-approved for wheelchairs.
