Fort Concho Foundation

The Fort Concho Foundation was established in 1976 to provide an additional level of support for the site, with funds helping to restore the fort, create special programming, attract new exhibits, bring guest speakers, and generally assist with many larger and longer-term projects that the fort’s general operating budget can not accommodate.

The Fort Concho Foundation is a 501 c 3 charitable organization.  Donations to the Foundation may be targeted for specific needs and projects, or they may be applied to the general endowment.

Gifts may also take other common forms of personal property, stocks and bonds, and other estate forms.

Gifts to the Fort Concho Foundation help the fort serve its many guests and preserve the historic site’s buildings and grounds for future generations to enjoy.

We recommend to Fort Concho supporters the Texas Historical Foundation (THF) located in Austin, TX, for their many years of supporting projects that preserve and promote the heritage of Texas. We especially thank the THF for its kind support of Fort Concho’s recent project to repair and restore our Officers’ Quarters 1.
