Celebrates the history and heritage of the African-American Soldiers who served at Fort Concho and other forts across the United States. The Fort Concho Buffalo Soldier Living History Unit will have education programs and living history demonstrations.
Enjoy a fun-filled day at Fort Concho with special docent led tours, half- price admissions, crafts & activities for children, and living history presentations. The event will be from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m
Fort Concho will again host a Living History Training Workshop. The 14th Annual Living History Ladies Symposium will cover topics on Victorian leisure, clothing, crafts, and interpretation. There will be a wide variety of presentations from our area living historians and re-enactors. These talks will give participants an idea of what living historians do, how to get started in the field, and where they can participate.

The Stribling Art Extravaganza will showcase 175 Concho Valley Artists and Artisans. The show and sale is free and open to the public. Since its beginning, Stribling Art Extravaganza has raised over $800,000 for WTRC and continues to serve as a great outlet to feature local talent. Featuring pieces of original art from a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor, pottery, mixed media, pastels, sculpture, drawing, fiber, glass, wood, clay and photographs, this show will have something for everyone. Every piece will be for sale and supporting this show not only benefits the Rehab Center, but supports the local artists.
