Blue Star Museum

If you are looking for family fun ideas this summer, you can visit Fort Concho for free as part of the Blue Star Museums program. As part of the program, we are offering free self-guided tours for the military and their families!

The 2023 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, 2023, and ends on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and participating museums across America.

The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military—Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and Space Force, members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps, and up to five family members. Fort Concho has extended this program to veterans as well!
