Fess Parker Centennial Festival Celebration

He’s half-horse, half-alligator….
A little over fifty guests gathered in the Quartermaster this evening and enjoyed a showing of “Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier” during day one of the Fess Parker Centennial Festival.
The fess-tival continues Saturday at 2 pm for another Fess Parker showing: Davy Crockett and the River Pirates!
Fun fact: August 17 is the birthday of Davy Crockett. Fess Parker was born the day before (August 16), 138 years later.
“Be sure you’re right, then go ahead.”
