Fort Concho is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Tours*

Fort Concho offers Guided and Self-Guided tours for visitors to enjoy. We ask all visitors to be mindful of the fragile artifacts on display and respectful of historic structures. The preservation of the site’s historic past is of utmost importance to us and we want Fort Concho to be enjoyed by generations to come.

*All tours are weather permitting and subject to change. The fort reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel tours for the day depending upon weather conditions and staff availability.

Self-Guided Tours

Set your own pace exploring the fort by taking a self-guided tour around the site. Fort staff will provide a map and instructions on how to maximize your visit, and will answer any question you may have about the site and its history.

Adult: $3.00 Military: $2.00 Senior (60 & above): $2.00 Students (7-17): $1.50 Children (6 & Under): free

While on a self-guided tour, please follow the path outlined by fort staff and only enter buildings marked on the site map.

Group Tours (10+): Contact the Visitor Services Department at 325-657-4444 to arrange for a private group tour. Please call 2 weeks in advance to check for availability and schedule a tour.
