You may have heard the tale behind the tragic death of Edith Grierson, but do you know the story of Annetta Bishop, the Merriam family, or Convict Thomas Duncan?
Join us Thursday, October 11 for a spine-tingling night tour of Fort Concho. Visit several of the fort’s buildings and listen to our guides recount the stories of people who lived and died at the site.
Tickets for the walking tour be available in early October, space is limited.
$8.00- General Public, and $6.00 for Fort Concho Members.

Who killed Captain C.A.Daver?

Join us for the 3rd annual Murder at Fort Concho event. Modeled after the board game Clue, Murder at Fort Concho give participants the opportunity to play detective for a night. Search for clue cards, interrogate the suspects, and help the Judge Advocate’s Assistant, Miss Terri Salva, solve this whodunit.

The event will run from 7:00-10:30 pm, but tickets will not be sold after 9:00 p.m. Tickets will be available in the Visitor Center at Barracks 1 in early October. $10.00 General Admission $8.00 Fort Concho Members.

Christmas at Old Fort Concho

Kick off the holiday season by visiting Fort Concho’s largest annual event. Held during the first full weekend in December, Christmas at Old Fort Concho transforms the fort’s forty acres and twenty-four buildings into a winter wonderland filled with shopping, entertainment, food, displays, living history, children’s workshops, and of course, a visit from Santa.
