Drawing with Light: Early Photography/Science of Light in mid-19th century
Come learn about the reflection and refractions of light, how the early photographic processes worked, and the chemistry behind the process. You will handle early photographs (daguerreotypes and ambrotypes), learn the science of bending light in the lenses and focusing the light with period cameras, and see how it all comes together for a photograph.
This session is designed for children ages 6-12. Space is limited, so registration is required. $15- general public, $12- Fort Concho Members. Snacks will be provided.
