Join us on the eastern end of the Fort Concho Parade Ground near the Headquarters Building for a program to honor the men and women who have given their lives to defend our nation. The program is co-sponsored by Fort Concho and the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. After the event ends, the fort will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for the rest of the holiday. (Regular Admission Charges)
Following an old army tradition, Fort Concho will fire artillery salutes on our nation’s birthday. The artillery salutes will take place on the hour near the Visitor Center at Barracks 1. There is no charge for the demonstrations; regular site admission will be in effect.
